Since opening the Perth Table Tennis Club in June 2016, the most frequent request that we have heard from old and new players is for “a couple of quick tips” to help improve their game. Not a full hour long coaching session, but just a fast fix or two for their most urgent ping-pong problems.
So in response to this common dilemma, PTTC is introducing Quick Tips, where you can turn up for a normal club session and get some quick advice from Greg (Level 1 Coach) for no extra charge. Just give Greg a shout as he wanders around the club, and he’ll pop over, take a look at your problem, and help you get back on track.
So if you can’t hit a forehand loop over the net, your backhand is bad, you are terrible against junk rubber etc, come along to PTTC and get a Quick Tip or two!

Tuesday Night Masterclass – starting Tuesday 24 October 2017
The idea behind the Tuesday Night Masterclass is to provide an opportunity for players to come along and learn a little more about table tennis from qualified coaches, along with the chance to ask questions and receive answers, all in a relaxed and informal setting.
Here’s the basic information about the Masterclass:
- 7pm to approx 8pm (or later if more questions), every Tuesday night at Perth Table Tennis Club
- One prepared topic to be presented for 5-10 minutes by Greg Letts
- Rest of time allocated to Q&A from attendees
- You can submit questions in advance to firstname.lastname@example.org
- No extra charge, just pay the normal $10 per night club fee, or as part of the regular $20 per week fee
- All WA coaches invited to attend on any night and participate in answering questions, could also present a 5-10 minute topic if you like
- It is during our regular club session (6-10pm), so play as normal the rest of the night and put those tips into practice straight away!
